Terms & Conditions

When confirmation of an order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We have included this to protect us in the case an error has been made in pricing, or we are unable to supply a product in the required timescale or for whatever other reason

A contract of sale will only be formed once we have produced the order, until then we reserve the right to refund any payments made for orders which we are unable to produce or supply for whatever reasons. The issue of a refund will effectively mean that the order has been cancelled and will not be supplied.

We aim to dispatch orders the next working day ( Monday - Friday ) by Royal Mail 1st class Letter Post.  We will email you when your order has been dispatched to allow you to make arrangements to receive it

If your order is not received within 7 working days you must inform us and allow us a further 7 working days to trace the order. If we can not trace your order after 14 working days from the original dispatch date we will reprocess and dispatch the order to you again completely free of charge.

If no-one is available to sign for your order, a card will be left informing you that your package is at the local post office for you to collect. Recorded (signed for) items are held for 7 days after that they are returned to us  Orders that are returned to us by the royal mail the customer will have to pay postage again for a re-delivery.

We take great care to process your order correctly. If we spot any possible errors in your order we will contact you by email to check, confirm and then rectify any possible errors. This is a free service and as such we can  not be held responsible for any errors you have made in your order that we fail to spot and rectify.

Any errors in your order made by us will by rectified free of charge and dispatched the next working day.

All orders are produced to your individual specifications and as such are exempt from the right to cancel under the UK's distance selling regulations, refunds will not be given on any orders that we have started to produce.

Returns will only be accepted for defective products, If you receive a defective product, use the Contact Us form or call 0191 4423962 within 7 days of receipt to let us know what has gone wrong. We will replace any defective items with replacements after we have received and inspected the defective item back from you in its original packaging at your own cost, this cost will be refunded when the goods are exchanged.

We cannot accept responsibility for unsatisfactory application to any substrate or ordering of the incorrect size. Customers must test and satisfy themselves before application as to the suitability of any product ordered and this absolves Dawson Signs from any damage however caused. The above does not effect your statutory rights
